Answer

Sometimes the challenge in checking the APA Style formatting in a draft work is not knowing what to look for. The Writing Centre has three APA Style checklists that are intended to help authors identify common formatting, citing, and referencing errors. The checklists don't address all the possible errors; however, they identify ten common errors in each category, explain the error and how to fix it, provide examples, and include links to other relevant resources.

"APA Style Citations Checklist"

"APA Style References Checklist"
