What is the correct format for a table of contents in APA Style?

The reason that you don't find information on creating a table of contents in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (American Psychological Association, 2010) is because the primary audience for the manual are authors of journal articles, and journal articles don't contain tables of content. Please check with your instructor or academic supervisor to find out what the expectations are for your table of contents, and then you can use the automatic tables of content function in Word to create the list from the headings in your document.
