Q

Does APA Style note the rank of military authors?

When citing books or presentations authored by military personnel, do I state their rank e.g. Col, Capt, Maj., in the in-text or reference citations?

Answer

APA Style doesn't use any titles, including military rankings, when referring to authors. Accordingly, only the author's last name is necessary.
