What are the APA Style rules regarding page numbers?

Place all page numbers in the top right corner in the document header. Unless you're directed otherwise by your instructor, and as per the academic convention, include your title page within the total page count; however, do not provide a number on the title page, which means that page 2 is the first page to show a number. Use Arabic numerals (e.g., 1, 2, 3) throughout the document, and continue the page numbers sequentially to the end of the report, including all appendices (American Psychological Association, 2010, p. 229).
