APA Style (7th ed.)

Please see the examples of an annotated student paper and professional paper on the American Psychological Association's Sample Papers web page. Please note that these examples reflect the differences between the expectations of authors submitting a paper to the APA for publication and students writing papers for an assignment. For example, student papers do not contain a running head and include the instructor and course name on the title page. However, if there are any discrepancies between assignment instructions and what is shown in the sample papers, students should follow the assignment instructions. If you have questions about  what is expected  of you, please refer to the resources in APA Style (7th ed.) and/or speak with your instructor.
