The Writing Centre doesn't provide APA Style templates because the assessment of student writing usually designates a percentage of the overall grade for correct APA Style formatting, which means that the formatting needs to demonstrate each student's understanding of the APA Style rules. Also, ensuring that an essay is formatted correctly to meet the expected standards is an author's responsibility and is part of creating a document.

If you want to create a template from which to start new documents, the Writing Centre, via APA Style (7th ed.) and WriteAnswers, provides extensive information on APA Style, and you're very welcome to use the information to create your own template. If you're an RRU student, you have questions about APA Style, but you haven't been able to locate the necessary information, please contact the Writing Centre for help.
