Please use the format for personal communication if you are quoting or paraphrasing your group members' comments, conversation, postings in your course, or any other form of communication that isn't public. For example, (A. Lastname, personal communication, Month day, year).

Keeping in mind that your group member might not have made the remark or posting with the expectation that you would make it public via publishing the comment in your essay, it's a good idea to first check with your group member to make sure you have his/her permission to quote him/her.
